Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. In-stock orders placed before [2:00 PM PT] typically ship the same or next business day. Orders placed after that cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays begin processing the next business day.

Processing time is separate from transit time. Total delivery estimate = processing time + carrier transit time.

During product drops, promotions, and peak holiday periods, processing may take up to [3–5 business days]. We will post notice on the site when that happens.

2. Where We Ship

We ship to all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories, subject to the restrictions in Section 6.

• We do not ship internationally. Knives and edged tools are heavily regulated or prohibited in many countries, and we do not act as exporter of record.
• P.O. Boxes: We can ship most items to P.O. Boxes via USPS. Items that must move by private carrier (see Section 5) require a physical street address.
• APO/FPO/DPO: [We ship / We do not ship] to military addresses. Where we do, only USPS-eligible items can be sent, and transit times are not guaranteed.
• Freight forwarders and third-party reshippers: We do not knowingly ship to freight forwarders or reshipping services. Orders identified as going to a forwarder may be cancelled and refunded.

3. Shipping Rates

Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, package weight and dimensions, declared value, and the service you select. You will see the exact cost before you pay.

• Free standard shipping on U.S. orders over $[75] (before tax, after discounts). Excludes oversized items, Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories.
• Expedited and overnight service is available at checkout where the carrier supports it.
• Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories may incur surcharges and longer transit times.

We do not profit-pad shipping, but rates may include packaging and handling.

4. Delivery Estimates

Transit times are estimates provided by the carrier, not guarantees. We are not responsible for carrier delays caused by weather, natural disasters, labor actions, customs or law-enforcement holds, mechanical failure, or incorrect addresses.

5. Carriers and Carrier Restrictions

We ship via USPS, UPS, and FedEx. We select the carrier based on the product, destination, and service level purchased.

6. Age Verification and Legal Compliance

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase any bladed product from Loadout Ready. By placing an order you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older (or 21 or older where local law requires) and that it is legal for you to purchase, receive, possess, and use the item in your jurisdiction.

We may require:

• Adult signature confirmation at delivery
• A government-issued ID matching the billing or shipping name
• A signed compliance or release form before certain items ship

Buyer responsibility. Knife laws vary significantly by state, county, and city, and they change frequently. Restrictions may apply to blade length, locking mechanism, opening mechanism, carry method, and knife style (dirks, daggers, double-edged blades, automatics, balisongs, throwing knives, and disguised blades are common targets of regulation). It is your responsibility — not ours — to know and comply with every federal, state, and local law that applies to you before you order. Nothing on this site is legal advice, and product listings are not a representation that an item is legal where you live.

Restricted destinations. We do not ship restricted items to jurisdictions where we know or believe their sale, shipment, or possession is prohibited. Jurisdictions that commonly restrict one or more categories of the products we sell include, without limitation: New York City, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver, New Orleans, and Hawaii. Our current restriction list is enforced at checkout and may be updated at any time without notice.

If an order is placed for an item we cannot lawfully ship to your address, we will cancel that line item and refund it in full. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for compliance reasons at our sole discretion.

7. Tracking

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order leaves our facility. Allow up to 24–48 hours for carrier scans to appear. If tracking has not updated in 7 business days, contact us and we will open a carrier investigation.

8. Address Accuracy

Please verify your shipping address at checkout. We ship to the address exactly as entered.

• Address corrections requested before shipment are free. Email us immediately at loadoutready@gmail.com with your order number.
• Once a package has shipped, we cannot reroute it. Carrier-imposed address correction fees are passed through to you.
• Packages returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address will be refunded less original shipping and any carrier return fees, or reshipped once you pay new shipping.

9. Lost, Stolen, and Damaged Shipments

Title and risk of loss pass to you upon our delivery of the package to the carrier. That said, we do not abandon customers:

• Marked delivered but not received: Check with household members and neighbors, then look for a carrier notice. Report to us within 7 calendar days of the delivery scan. We will file a claim and, where the carrier or shipping protection resolves in your favor, replace or refund the order.
• Lost in transit: Report after 7 business days of no tracking movement (domestic) so we can open a claim.
• Damaged on arrival: Photograph the outer box, all packaging, and the item, and email us within 3 calendar days of delivery. Keep all packaging until the claim resolves — carriers routinely deny claims when packaging is discarded.
• Theft and porch piracy: We strongly recommend adding shipping protection at checkout, or shipping to a secured address or carrier pickup point. Without protection, uninsured stolen packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier are not eligible for automatic replacement, though we will still assist with the claim.

10. Refused Shipments and Seizures

If a package is refused at delivery, or is seized or destroyed by a carrier, customs authority, or law enforcement because the item is unlawful at the destination, we cannot issue a refund. This is why Section 6 matters — confirm your local law before you order.

11. Split Shipments

Multi-item orders may ship in more than one package, from more than one location, and on different days at no extra cost to you. Each shipment gets its own tracking number.

12. Backorders and Preorders

If an item goes out of stock after you order, we will contact you with the option to wait, substitute, or cancel for a full refund of that line item. Preorder ship dates are estimates provided by the manufacturer and are subject to change.

13. Sales Tax

Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable state and local rates.
